August : Patriotism and Religious Fervour

☆ August is the month of Religious festivals and month of revolution Kranti :-

As we know that India was a country of or the land of Snack Charmers  and full of traditions and myths.

Every incidents are join with any perticular myth or history. All Indian believe in these myth and celebrate all festivals with full of faith and happiness. From starting January to December many festivals are there. But August is the month of Religious festivals and month of Revolution Kranti. In August month there are many festivals like : Janmashtami, Pateti, Bakri - Id, Gauri Vrat, Divaso, Ekadashi, Shitla Satam, Nagpanchami, Randhanchhath etc.

☆ Why Indian people celebrate all festivals with happiness and faith:-

The main Purpose of celebrates the Indian festivals is bringing people closer and creating a strong bond of humanity. All Indian festivals revolve around the Lord's Birthday, relationship, seasonal changes, and traditional myth. This helps them understand the rituals of all festivals and celebration. Many tourists come to India for witness various festivals and join with us in celebration. This is the old tradition have gifted to our India.
Here I would like to put some disadvantages of celebration of festivals.

☆ Disadvantages of Celebration of festivals :-

There are lots of disadvantages like sound and air pollution, wastage of water and playing with harmful chemical used colour are caused disturbance to mankind. Another point is more goats and hens are executed for the sake of God. And also many religious issues while celebration of festivals.

With the celebration of festivals August is the month of Patriotism. So, now let's discuss the the point of Patriotism. After the partition of the India and Pakistan there was many writer who writing the reality of society against both countries and faced many charges. Here I put some examples of this.

☆ Short hindi film : DEFENCE OF FREEDOM  :-

This is a story about SAADAT HASAN MANTO  a prolific Indian - Pakistani writer, who wrote the reality of society. He was born in India but relocated in Pakistan after the partition of India - Pakistan. There was six charges on him because of his writing on the reality of society. This is a short hindi film DEFENCE OF FREEDOM  by Nandita Das. The role of Saadat Hasan Manto played by Nawazuddin Siddique. In this short film he says that,

             " मैं सिर्फ इतना जानता हूँ कि मेरी कहानी एक आयना है, जिसमें समाज अपने आप को देख सके और अगर किसी बुरे शक्ल वाले को आयने से शिकायत है तो इसमें मेरा क्या कसूर है । समाज में जिस वेश्याओं के घर  रात मे लोग जाते हें उसके घर कोई मुसलमान और हिन्दु नमाज पढ़ने या प्रार्थना करने नही जाते ।"

So, this is a reality of our society that people don't want to accept. Saadat Hasan Manto put the reality of society in his book. So people ignore him  and called him the Criminal of the country. That is the reality of our society.

☆ " This Bloody Line " film by Ram Madhavani :-
Cyril John Radcliffe was a British lawyer, best known for his role in the partition of British India. He was responsible for drawing the border for the two new country India and Pakistan. The result was that many Hindus and shikhs divided in India and Muslims in Pakistan. He submitted the partition map on 9th August 1947. The new separate nation declared on 14th August 1947 - the independence day of Pakistan and 15th August-The independence day day of India. Million of people flee across the border when they discover the new boundaries left them in the wrong country. The million of people were injured and died.

After then W. H Auden wrote the poem " PARTITION "  response to Cyril John Radcliffe. For the original poem " PARTITION "  click here.   Then Ram Madhvani made the short film " This Bloody Line " based on the poem, " Partition."

☆ Country  v/ s Nation : Poem by Bhagavat Rawat :-

The popular hindi poem, " देश एक राग है ।"  written by Bhagvat Rawat. In this poem he put the description of Country v/s Nation. The Rashtra according to Rawat, boast of the, 21 gun salute  that says " Savadhan " or beware, Desh is a musical rag that only sings of unity in diversity. The poem is put the idea about the Desh which is full of colour and aatmiyata. So, in the whole poem he shows his love for Desh rather than Rashtra.

Thank you.......
