                      We all know that The term Post Truth is the international word of the year 2016. So, as the assignment task of Dr. Dilip Barad sir, I would like to write my blog on the term ' Post Truth ' with one example. I hope you will enjoy. My blog is below.

• The meaning of the term ' Post Truth ' :-

                             According to Cambridge Dictionary Post Truth means, " Relating to a situation in which people are more likely to accept an argument based on their emotions and beliefs, rather than one based on facts. "

~ In the other way we can says that , " Relating to or denoting circumstances in which objective facts are less influential in shaping public opinion than appeals to emotion and personal beliefs. "

                 Here I would like to put the table of the years and name of person, who used the 'Post Truth' word in different years:

In 2016 Oxford Dictionaries declared that its international words of the year was, 'Post Truth' citing a 2,000 % increase in usage compared to 2015. Let us see the term ' Post truth' with one movie example, 'Sanju'.

• The term ' Post truth ' in the movie ' SANJU ' :-

                      Here I would like to put the example of the movie 'Sanju' based upon the life of the Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt.

                             ' Sanju ' is a biographical film released in 2018 directed by Rajkumar Hirani and written by Rajkumar Hirani and Vidhu Vinod Chopra both. The film is based on the life of the Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt. The film reveales some incidents of the life of Sanjay Dutt like he arrested for alleged association with the 1993 Bombay bombing, his addiction with drugs etc. 

• How we can apply the term ' Post Truth ' in this movie ?

                       As we see that ' Sanju ' is the film upon the life of Sanjay Dutt and his crime that he did in his life. For information about Sanjay Dutt visit the site Wikipedia. Rajkumar tries to show his all crime in the movie but not in negative way but in positive way with emotions and sentiments. For that reason this movie is criticised by many critics but Rajkumar Hirani gave all questions's answers of against the movie and tried to gave positive arguments. ' Sanju ' was criticised for its take on the actor's role in Bombay blast. Dutt was arrested under the Terrorist and disrupting activities Act in 1993. People hated Sunjay Dutt at the first screening. But Rajkumar Hirani spoke his own perspective of Sanjay Dutt and said that, ' He isn't bad man. '

                    In the starting of his argument he said that,

               " Because I wanted to do a true story, I didn't create any empathy toward him. But later I understood we need it for him."

                        Rajkumar Hirani also said that everyone view the story through their own perspective. Someone would made ' Sanju ' only on the chapter of how he acquired the gun, destroyed it and then the case. It could have been a film of its own. In his argument Rajkumar Hirani accept that first they wanted to do true story. They didn't create any empathy toward him and shows him as he is. But later on he understood that he is their hero and they need some empathy for him. So, we can find out the real meaning of the term ' Post Truth ' in this movie.
